Gelato

Fresh, Homemade Italian Gelato

It’s our pleasure to serve you the best homemade Gelato around! We have a wide variety of flavours available in cones or cups!

We often get asked what is the difference between Gelato, Ice Cream, and Sorbetto.
Here are some quick notes on what makes one unique but equally delicious.

Gelato

• Gelato is milk based.
• It contains 2-9% fat.
• Gelato has less air, which makes the flavour really pop! It is slow churned.
• The texture is dense, silky and smooth.
• You will find nuts used like pistachio and hazelnut as well as chocolate.
• A flat spatula is the primary serving tool used.

Ice Cream

• Ice Cream is heavy cream based.
• It contains 10-25% fat.
• Ice Cream has more air, which makes the flavour less intense than Gelato. It is fast churned.
• The texture is fluffy and icy.
• A scooper is the primary serving tool used.

Sorbetto

• Dairy free.
